Latest update on Google Chrome: 9 ways will change the way you browse the internet

A major update has been released by Google recently for chrome internet browser which is named as Chrome 90. This is the new update which has much to offer such as improved video conferencing experience, decrease data consumption and also makes it easier to perform the several other tasks. Another crucial development is FLoC which is Google’s new way thus to track the users and show ads but the features are still under testing and they have not been rolled out widely yet.


Below are some of the ways on how Google is changing the internet browsing experience with its new update Chrome90 as:

Improved video meetings

The Google chrome 90 comes with the new codecs that offers better compression that will also improve the quality of the video calls and also will consume less data. Hence, people an expect that they can make the good quality video calls in low bandwidth. So, even if you are using your mobile hotspot to connect on video calls, then also you will experience the better video quality and calls.

Secure internet browsing

As we all are aware of HTTPs protocol is one of the safer and more effective. Hence, whenever you open the HTTPs version of the website on chrome 90 then Google will open it with HTTPs by default. When you will open the website for the 1st time on Chrome90 then you will notice it will by default have HTTPs version.

AR Experience and Gaming

There is one tool which is named as WebXR depth sensing API that helps to better measure the distance between the person and the device on which the chrome is running. This will also help to lead more accurately to AR experience and will also give you the improved gaming experience.

Faster Loading Time

There comes the new Lite mode which will decrease the effective bitrate of videos when you watch it on mobile and will lead to faster loading time and better experience even on low data speed.

Easy File Uploading

Rather than clicking on upload button to post a file on website, now Google will allow the users to simply copy and paste the files on Chrome90. This will allow the people to access to their clipboard to the website only when you hit Ctrl+V to paste. This clearly means that the website will not have any access to the clipboard every time, hence make it private.

Phishing

Google will also allow people to hide complete RLs and just show the main website name and user can also disable this feature whenever they want to. With the help of this feature, the main domain will be showcased thus will make it easy for the users to understand whether or not the website is genuine or fraud.

Block Prompts & Notifications

Google will improve the experience around the website prompts and therefore you will not get prompts such as “Subscribe to us” or “get a newsletter” and get stuck in the loop of cancelling them. Rather than this, there will be bell icon at the end of the address bar and hence the user will have to click on that icon.

Better RAM

With this new feature of Chrom90, users can except fast processing as Google has improved memory management and also it will consume less battery while you are browsing the internet and watching videos offline.

Better experience with PDFs

Chrome90 also claims that you might get better support for PDF files and XFA forms and there will be a new sidebar’s that will help you to navigate to particular page and can also be viewed in the presentation mode.
